Electronic Visit Verification (EVV)
Request A Demo21st Century Cares Act

There are three main types of EVV accepted for state waiver programs
- Mobile App – These downloadable apps allow workers to use their smart phones to clock in, clock out, view and document the plan of care, and provide any required notes and documentation. And once clocked in, the app alerts them when it’s time to clock out. The apps use GPS to verify the location of the worker when and ONLY when they are clocking in and out.
- Telephony - The caregiver calls a toll-free number from your client’s land-based phone.
- FOBs (fixed objects) - A FOB, or "fixed object," also called an “FVV” (Fixed Visit Verification) device, is the term used to describe a small device affixed in the client’s home that the worker can use to verify their location when clocking in and out. FOBs are used when it is not practical for the worker to use a mobile app (e.g., they do not have a smartphone, and the client does not have a landline.) FOBs are exceptionally reliable and thousands of them are used every day by workers across the US.
